RPM Course Description

This workshop presents the latest evolution of Geary Rummler’s robust methodology for analyzing, designing and implementing work processes that align with business needs and the management processes required to ensure continuous alignment. In this update synergies between process change and IT development methodologies are identified and integrated tools for defining business requirements that foster collaboration between process designers and performer experts, both systems and human, are introduced.

The workshop is taught by professionals who have conducted hundreds of successful process improvement projects. In addition to the very practical methodology steps and tools, this course also presents the major concepts and theories that underlie effective process change. With an understanding of these basic concepts, the participants will be able to effectively tailor the steps and tools to for any given process situation. The methodology review is supported by participant based application exercises and simulations that give participants hands-on experience in using the tools and techniques.
